Top 15 Products of 2015

2015-beauty-products-NARS-Lush- L'oreal

It's that time of year again where we take a look back at all of the products I've been loving over the past year or so. If you are at all interested in discovering what beauty and skincare bits I've been loving throughout the year of 2015 then keep on reading...

Makeup

The most used base of 2015 had to go to the Body Shop All-in-one BB Cream. I found it was perfect for a lightweight, everyday base, whilst giving enough coverage and balancing out your skin tone.

Ever since I bought this bronzer back in December 2014 I haven't put it down, you guessed it, it's the NARS Laguna Bronzer. Perfect for adding shape to your face in the hollows of your cheeks and around the hairline for an extra bronzed look.

You will probably begin to sense a bit of a theme with my favourites this year as my next favourite has to go to the NARS Orgasm Blush. Now I know I was late to the party with this iconic shade however I couldn't resist buying it at the airport before my trip to Thailand and ever since I've been wearing it with pretty much every look.

NARS Copacabana Illuminator was an experimental purchase for me. I had to play around with the product a bit before I was happy with how I wanted to use it. In the end I found this product works best when mixed with your base for an extra dewy look rather than applied directly to the cheekbones.

The stand out product for that perfect highlighter has to be The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter. A great mix of golden and silver shimmers this product gives your cheekbones that instant glow without looking like a complete disco ball.

I will confess now and say this has to be my most repurchased product of 2015. The Soap and Glory Brow Archery Eyebrow Pencil is the perfect product for achieving that natural, defined brow in seconds. I use it on a daily basis and always make sure I have a back up for when it runs out.

When I want to add a little more hold to my brows I tend to use the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. I tried a few different brow gels in 2015 and this one had to by my favourite with a small brush and great colour match.

Not much to say here that hasn't already been said about the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, the perfect budget concealer that covers anything and everything.

My favourite lipstick of the year is a classic nude by Mac in the shade Twig. I've quickly worked my way through this lipstick, so a repurchase will be needed very soon.

Probably my most favourite budget makeup release of 2015 was the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I can honestly say this is the first mascara I have tried that actually does what it claims. If you want something to hold a curl and give you tons of volume then definitely give this a try next time you take a trip to boots.

Last but not least in the makeup category we have my favourite eyeliner of 2015. The L'Oreal Superliner Liquid Eyeliner is the longest lasting, precision eyeliner I have found on the highstreet. This stuff has serious staying power and doesn't smudge once dry, perfect for a long lasting makeup look.

Skincare

Probably the most recent addition to my favourites has to be the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm. This hydrating lip balm is perfect for transforming dry, dull lips into smooth and lip-stick ready.

The perfect skin care duo for those much needed pamper days had to go to the NSpa Hot Cloth Polish and NSpa Melting Cleansing Gel. These two products transformed my skin and has given it back its much needed moisture and radiance.

The Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub had to be my favourite body scrub of the year due to it's amazing uplifting fragrance and ability to keep your feeling skin amazingly soft.

I hope you enjoyed discovering what products I fell in love with in 2015. I am excited to see what new launches there will be in 2016 and which ones could potentially make it into my next yearly round up in 12 months time.
