Beauty Empties

I love reading bloggers talking about their favourite products however I always wonder whether they actually end up using all of the product. I have recently been using up a lot of my products and thought I would put together a beauty empties post to tell you guys a little more about the products I've been loving or not loving over the past few months.

As I mentioned a few months ago I purchased the Origins Ginzing Kit of which I thoroughly enjoyed using two of their products, the first being the Ginzing Eye Cream and the other being the Energy-boosting Moisturiser. I couldn't rave about these two products enough, they both helped to combat my dry skin and help overall boost the skins appearance. I particularly found that these two products helped my make up lay better on the skin and not cling to any patches on the skin. Once I've worked through the rest of my moisturisers in my skincare drawer I will definitely be re-purchasing this moisturiser and eye cream because I truly noticed a difference when using this product.

Next up we have a couple of bases I have mentioned before on my blog. The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream is a lovely light base, perfect for the day you don't want to wear too much on your skin but still want to have some sort of coverage. I've previously re-purchased this product and I'm still in love with it after using my second tube. Next up we have probably my most favourite base when it comes to BB creams, Dr Jart+ Waterfuse BB Cream. Unfortunately I don't believe this is avaliable to purchase in the UK anymore which is a shame because I love the flawless finish this bb cream gives the skin. Check out my post for a full review of this BB cream.

Something that I have been repurchasing for the last few months has been the Soap and Glory Brow Archery Brow Pencil which is the high street answer to the Anastasia Brow Wiz. This fine tipped pencil makes it easy to fill in your brows to create the perfect, crisp, natural brow. I find this product doesn't last as long as say a powder or gel would and I would probably end up using one pencil every month or so. For a bit of a change I've moved back to gel products to fill in my brows, however I would still call this pencil my staple when it comes to brows and I will definitely be repurchasing it in the future.

Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy using the last product in my empties. Rimmel Glam Eyes Day 2 Night looked promising when I first bought it, with two options of length and volume depending on which brush you use. However I found this product too clumpy and didn't really hold a curl which is something I look for in a mascara. I wouldn't really recommend purchasing this mascara unless you want a really separated lash look with little curl.

Let me know what you thought of this post and whether you've tried any of the products mentioned.

  1. I really enjoy the origins Ginzing moisturiser. I find that it really does give my skin an ample dose of moisture. I love using it in the mornings especially as it really seems to wake up my skin and give it that extra bit of brightness. Which is great, especially for the times I have to wake up at 6am. Plus it smells heavenly. I defnitely want to give the matching eye cream a go.

    1. I couldn't agree more! I cant wait to use up the rest of my stash so I can justify buying a new Ginzing moisturiser!

      Thankyou for the comment Sarah!
