Updated Eyebrow Routine

Over the past few months I've been experimenting with a few different products to shape my brows from pencils to gels I've pretty much tried them all. However recently I've been more inclined to using powder to fill in my brows for a more defined and softer look. In today's post I'm going to talk through what products I use on a daily basis to get that 'brows-on-fleek' look.

Hidden at the back of my make up stash I rediscovered my Naked Basics Palette which over the past few months has been my new brow palette. I've been using the Naked 2 shade and  Faint to help create a natural looking brow rather than my usual Soap and Glory Archery Pencil. To fill in my brows I use the shade Faint on my Eco Tools Flat Liner Brush to draw a line at the bottom of my brow, starting at the center and working towards the tail. I then fill in the arch with the same colour to create the shape I want my brows to be. I then fill in any sparse sections of my brow with the shade Naked 2 and work towards the front of my brow with softer strokes.
To finish everything off and hold the product in place I use the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper through the brows for added definition. In these two photos you can see the soft, natural look the eye shadow gives the brow. I prefer this softer look to the sharp, defined look the pencils give you as I feel it looks a lot more natural and less 'drawn on'.

I hope you enjoyed reading my updated brow routine. Let me know what beauty products you've tried to fill in your brows in the comments below!

  1. I can't believe it! I use the Naked Basics too to define my brows! Unlike other brow pencils, powders, gels I have tried, it's neither reddish nor too dark and fake-looking. However I need to use a pencil to let the powder stick, and don't laugh but I buy it from H&M. Following you now :-) Baci, Coco - You are welcome to JOIN Coco et La vie en rose BEAUTY LINK UP

    1. It's just such a great shade for me, I stumbled along all of the same problems you listed before I tried this palette! :) Thank you lovely, I'll check your blog out now!
