Chanel Les Beiges Foundation

High end foundation is a world that I haven't really delved into until now. If you've read my blog post about what I hauled last month, you would have known that I treated myself to the newest Chanel Les Beiges foundation. I wanted to do a post about how much I've been loving this foundation over the past few weeks.
Every individual has different requirements when it comes to a foundation, but what I look for is light-medium coverage with a dewy, healthy-looking finish. I was nervous to initially try out this foundation due to the huge price tag in comparison to my usual foundation favourites however I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did.
The Product
The foundation itself is the perfect formula to achieve a flawless complexion, with a faultless dewy finish. I tend to apply this foundation with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush all over the face to give a full coverage finish to the skin. I rarely use concealer to cover up any blemishes as the foundation gives you enough coverage to go without. I suffer from dry skin and find that this foundation doesn't cling to the skin and turn flaky like other foundations I've tried. The shade I use is shade 20 and it is the perfect match for my skin especially compared to other lower end foundations that I've tried. I find other products blend in well to the skin over the top of the foundation and don't turn the skin cakey or dry.

The Packaging
Being high end the packaging of this foundation definitely feels luxurious with a lovely frosted finish and pump dispenser. The dispenser allows you to get just enough product without wasting any and I tend to find two pumps is enough for a full face application.

The Verdict
Overall, I am over the moon with the overall look, feel and application of this foundation and believe it is definitely worth the price tag. It gives great coverage and leaves the skin feeling fresh and healthy. If you are debating purchasing a high end foundation like this one then definitely go for a test in the store before. But, ultimately I would certainly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for something that is worth the price tag from high end beauty.

Let me know in the comments below whether you've tried this foundation or any other high end foundations you've tried that are worth the price tag!

  1. I got a little tester of this and found it went really patchy which I was so upset about as I loved the finish of it! I'm hoping I just had the wrong shade! x
