Skincare Staples

Skincare was always an area of beauty that I didn't really understand or enjoy. Now a few years on, I have realised how important it is to look after your skin especially when wearing makeup on a daily basis. Over the years I've tried and tested a variety of face masks, moisturisers and other skincare essentials in order to get the best skincare regime. Today I wanted to share with you my favourite beauty skincare staples that I love to death and would definitely recommend you trying as part of your own skincare routine.

Removing your makeup after wearing it all day is extremely important. My favourite cleanser of the moment has to be Garnier's Oil-Infused Micellar Water, I have already written a full post on this product, so make sure you check it out to find out why I love it so much. For moisturiser I have been working my way through my stash, however I always go back to my Dr Organic Virgin Olive Oil Day Cream time and time again. This moisturiser nourishes your skin with no funny smells or dodgy irritation for those of you that have sensitive skin like me. Every night I apply a hefty coating of the Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm to my lips to help deep condition them over night. This helps to keep my lips super soft and it is great for when you want to wear that matte lipstick without it drying your lips out. About once a week I try to apply some sort of face mask to help really clean and nourish my skin. The ones I've been loving recently are the Montagne Jeunesse sheet masks as they are easy to apply and simply remove from your face. The leave your skin feeling hydrated and full of goodness with minimal effort or mess. Another thing I like to do in my skincare routine is apply deep cleansing strips to help remove any blackheads around the T-Zone. The ones I am using at the moment are by Purederm and do a pretty decent job at removing any stubborn black heads from any oily regions across your face.

These are just a few of my tips to help taking care of your skin on a relatively low budget. I hope you enjoyed learning about my favourite skincare staples and maybe you discovered some products you feel would work for you.
