Very Victoria By Charlotte Tilbury

Now I solely blame two of my very good blogging friends Justine and Marty for this next purchase as, well lets just say, they didn't stop me. With some moral encouragement I finally made my first ever Charlotte Tilbury purchase on the new makeup counter in Jarrolds, Norwich. I knew I wanted to add one of Charlotte Tilbury's dreamy rose gold lipsticks to my collection but I did deliberate for a while over what shade to get. However finally I decided that Very Victoria was the one for me, the perfect nude shade.
This little treat was defintely needed after a busy week of working so when pay day finally came around I decided to buy something with a little extra sparkle. With the launch of the new Charlotte Tilbury in Jarrolds, Norwich I knew that I had to pick up something from the incredible counter. Once there I wanted to buy everything -the filmstar bronze and glow is definitely still on my to buy list- however I resisted. I am very happy with my purchase of the ever wearable Very Victoria Matte Revolution Lipstick. After regrettably losing my MAC lipstick in the shade Twig I wanted to buy something kind of similar in colour to replace it and Very Victoria fit the bill exactly. This lipstick is a very similar colour to my natural lip shade making it extremely wearable throughout the day. The matte formulation is particularly comfortable on the lips and isn't drying at all like other matte lipstick I have tried. I tend to wear this lipstick on a daily basis, adding a little bit of luxury to my otherwise drugstore face of makeup this lipstick definitely lasts the test of time. Like most lipsticks I reapply after eating or drinking however normal wear is fantastic compared to other, more budget lipsticks I've tried.

Overall, I am very impressed with my Charlotte Tilbury purchase and I know, for sure, it will remain a staple part in my makeup bag.
