Bronze Goddess

It's been a while since I've shown my face on my blog but I wanted to share with you my favourite makeup I've currently been wearing. This is the makeup I wore to the Intu Event last month and I've been loving this look so much I wanted to show you what products I've been loving. I've used a variety of products that are easily accessible and created a look that is easy for anyone to recreate. If you'd like to know what products I used to create this look then carry on reading.

My foundation of choice at the moment is my Chanel Les Beiges that I've already reviewed on my blog. I tend to mix it with my Body Shop BB Cream during the day and on its own for a more fuller, evening appropriate coverage. I tend to stick to the same three products to add a bit of colour to my face, NARS Laguna for my contour, The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer for highlight and Rimmel Santa Rose for my blush. I love the combination of these three products and feel they help to sculpt my face and compliment my complexion perfectly. The exciting part of this look is definitely the eyes as I experimented with my Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette and a few other eye products from my collection. To start off I used the H&M colour essence eye cream in the shade Champers all over the lid. This provided the perfect base to help my eye shadow stay all night and really helped the eye shadow colours to pop. I used my Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette to create this golden-bronze look with the shades Substitute for Love, Freshly Toasted and Subtle Blend. I applied Substitute for Love all over the lid, and blended Freshly Toasted in the crease with Subtle Blend along the lash line to intensify the look. To add another dimension to this look I added the GOSH eyeshadow pencil in the shade Beige along my lower waterline. This picked out the golden tones in the eye shadow and helped open up my eyes. To complete the eye look I added my favourite waterproof eyeliner by Daniel Sandler to the outer corners of my lower lash line and tight line to help create the illusion of thicker looking lashes. No look can go without a bit of liquid liner so I applied my liquid eyeliner by 2 True (discontinued) and created a little wing along my lash line. It goes without saying I applied layers of my favourite mascara Maybelline Lash Sensational to open up the eyes further. Last but not least I applied MAC Spirit to my lips to tie together the whole golden, natural look together.

I hope you enjoyed looking at what products I used to create this look. Let me know in the comments below if you've tried out any of the products I've mentioned above.

Love Zoe xx
