The Best Of Benefit

Benefit are one of my favourite beauty brands because of their fun packaging and great quality products. I have a few of their products in my collection which I love to death so I wanted to put together a post rounding up my favourite products from the Benebabes. If you'd like to find out more about what Benefit products I've tried and tested then keep on reading.

Over the years I've slowly but surely tried a large proportion of the Benefit cosmetics range however  only a few have remained in my firm favourites that I reach for all the time. You can probably guess by the packaging in the photo that the cult classic Hoola Bronzer is also one of my favourites. I used to use this bronzer for a contour however found the shade was too orange toned so I use this product to add warmth over the entirety of my face on those days I feel a little pale. This bronzer is perfect as it doesn't go cakey or add any shimmer to the face and doesn't carry any funny smells like other bronzers I've tried. I've only repurchased this once and the most recent bronzer has lasted me way over 9 months which I think is great value for money.

To add a flush of colour to my cheeks I love using the Benefit Coralista blush, as the name may suggest this blush is the perfect coral which adds a subtle glow to the cheeks which is perfect for summer. This blush has a slight gold shimmer that runs through the coral tones which makes the skin glow and look that little bit healthier. I was lucky enough to receive this as a gift from my university friends last year for my birthday so this product has lasted me nearly a year and there is still plenty of product left. Obviously it is important to understand I own a lot of makeup so I tend to alternate between products, especially blush, however Benefit blushers are highly pigmented so a little product does go a long way.

During my time trying Benefit cosmetics I have had a love hate relationship with their mascaras. The Bad Gal Lash and They're Real mascaras are two that many beauty bloggers rave about however they just didn't work with my lashes. I found the brushes far too big they just made my eyelashes look like a clumpy mess. However my opinion completely changed once Benefit released their Roller Lash back in April 2015. I purchased the March 2015 Elle magazine where you received a free sample of the mascara and I was in love from the first time I used it. The brush itself is a lot smaller than Benefit's other mascaras so this made it easier to get into all the lashes. The product itself isn't clumpy on the lashes and holds a curl perfectly which is the main thing I look for in a mascara. I am yet to buy the full-size of this product as the sample size is still fine however it is definitely on my to-buy list once I work my way through my mascara stash.

Last but not least is the newest addition to mine collection and Benefits range, the Goof Proof Brow Pencil. 2016 has been Benefits year of the brows and by god have they saturated the market with their amazing brow products. I was lucky enough to trial a few of the products from the range at the Intu VIP Event in September and was so impressed with the variety they had on offer. Elle magazine offered yet another free sample size of this product with one of their latest issues so I decided to pick up a copy to try out for myself. This pencil is so easy to use and makes filling in your brows so simple. The nib itself has two sides which makes it easy to fill in the narrow and fuller parts of the brow quickly. I use this product daily now and finish it off with my favourite L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper and my brows stay all day without fail. I am coming close to finishing this sample so will definitely be popping into my local Benefit counter to pick up a full size.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my favourite Benefit products! Let me know in the comments below of any products you love to use from Benefit and whether you are a Elle Magazine sample collector like me.

Love Zoe xx
