Lumi Magique L'Oreal Foundation

Over the past few months I have been working my way through my old foundations in order to minimise my collection. I am now down to the last bottle in my collection so I decided to pick up a new drugstore foundation to trial on a daily basis and see what my opinion would be. The foundation of choice was the L'Oreal Lumi Magique foundation simply down to its promises of 'flawless skin' and it's 'liquid light technology'.

If you have been a reader of my blog for a while you will know that I like foundations that give you a dewy finish and flawless complexion so when I spotted this in my local boots I knew I had to pick it up. I haven't heard a lot about this particular foundation before purchasing it so it certainly was a random purchase but one that I don't regret.

The Packaging
The golden-pink style of this foundation definitely ticks all the boxes for me, it's certainly bang on trend. The glass bottle has a simple pump dispenser which makes portioning the perfect amount of product easy. The packing itself is very similar to other drugstore products on the market but it ultimately does it's job.

The Product
As I already mentioned I love foundations that give  your skin a healthy glow and this foundation suits that bill completely. I tend to use around 1- 1 1/2 pumps to cover the entirety of my face. The formula itself is very lightweight and easy to blend, the colour matching was easy and the finish on the skin gives a very healthy-looking glow. This foundation is available in six different shades, all with different undertones so you are bound to find your match. I have used this foundation with my beauty blender and buffing brush and both give a similar finish to the skin. I would say this foundation gives a natural to full coverage but how can be built up without looking cakey or enhancing pores. For simple makeup looks I typically use this foundation without concealer as it helps to even your complexion but lets your natural skin shine through, however if you would prefer a fuller coverage then feel free to apply some concealer.

The Verdict
I have tried a lot of foundations from the drugstore some of which I have loved and others that didn't quite fit the bill. I love the radiance that the Lumi Magique gives your skin with minimal effort at all. For only £10.99 this foundation would be the perfect addition to anyone makeup bag who is looking for a natural, lightweight, radiance building foundation.

I hope you enjoyed reading my opinions on the L'Oreal Lumi Magique foundation and let me know in the comments below if you have tried out any drugstore foundations recently?
