Body Shop Treats

Over the past few months I have suffered with dry skin on my face and nothing in my skincare routine seemed to be resolving the issue. To try and help get my skin back on track I thought I could do with switching up my skincare routine to try and help add the much needed moisture back into my skin. The Body Shop is one of those brands I tend to forget about however from time to time I like to search their website for skincare and beauty products to add to my collection. After reading a lot of reviews about their various products I decided to purchase two products from the Body Shop's Vitamin E range, whilst also stocking up on an old beauty favourite.

Vitamin E Refreshing Eyes Cube Within your skincare routine it is important now to forget about the skin around your eyes. A lot of products out there don't provide the gentle nourishment your eyes need due to the skin natural sensitivity. I was in serious need for a product in my skincare regime that helped to moisturise my under eyes and keep them refreshed. Body Shop claim that this product offers a "gentle, easy-glide application that moisturises, cools and instantly revives the appearance of tired eyes". I apply this product twice a day, once in the morning and the other just before bed and I have seen a noticeable difference in the appearance of the skin around my eyes. They now appear much more fresh and light in colour, compared to the dark, dull skin I was suffering with before. I find applying this product super refreshing as it cools the skin during application. Make-up application is not affected by this products and I in fact find that concealer and foundation don't crease in any fine lines around my eyes anymore. The only downside to this product is the size, for £9.50 you get yourself a 4g product which I feel is a a bit steep for only one area of my face, however as I have seen a noticeable difference since using the product I would say it is definitely worth it. I find the solid formulation of this product better than other creams/oils I have used as you can simply apply a few strokes to the skin rather than wasting product when dispensed from a tube.

All-in-One BB Cream Now, I have featured this BB Cream multiple times on my blog over the years and after realising I never got round to repurchasing it after finishing the last tube I decided to add one to my online order. It goes without saying this BB is fantastic some anyone that wants to even their complexion without piling on a heavy coverage foundation. A pea-sized amount goes a long way and lasts on the skin all day, giving you that natural, healthy looking skin on a daily basis. I find this product works well when mixed with more heavy-coverage foundations to help transition it into a day-appropriate look. The creamy formula makes this BB cream a dream to blend into the skin, which is perfect for those days that you don't want to spend all the time in the world perfecting your base.

Sink-in Moisture Sleeping Mask The last product I have to talk about is probably my favourite product from the whole order as it has completely transformed my skin. This Vitamin E overnight mask has completely replenished my dry skin with all the moisture needed to get it back to its normal state. It's gel-cream consistency sinks in to the skin slowly overnight so you wake up fresh-faced, with dewy-looking skin in the morning. I apply a generous amount of this mask over my face, two times a week to help nourish my now London polluted skin back to its former state. I have found using this over the past month has really transformed my skin and has helped my make-up look a lot smoother and radiant. In terms of value for money I would say Body Shop have hit the nail on the head with this product, retailing at £11 for 100ml. I have used this overnight mask twice a week for just over a month now and I still have a large amount of the product left for the upcoming months.

Have you tried anything from The Body Shop recently?
